This week is #mentalhealthawarenessweek — Two thirds of us experience a mental health problem in our lifetimes, and stress is a key factor in this.By tackling stress, we can go a long way to tackle mental health problems such as anxiety and depression, and, in some instances, self-harm and suicide.—So this is us saying our bit.—We see firsthand the benefits of having a safe place away from home as well as somewhere to exercise, learn new skills and, most importantly, burn off steam. We are a community that just happens to also be a skatepark. Whether it be tears, anger, fear, (lots of) laughter or just an accidental exhausted nap — We've really seen it all and we wouldn't have it any other way.Our doors are open to everyone and anyone and we know the difference this accepting and supportive skatepark community has made to some people's lives. The community of The Front is what makes our skatepark unique and we will never stop being overthetop motherhen proud of our skatepark family. We hope you all know there is always a cuppa and a chat ready and waiting for anyone who needs it. Or, you know, a whole bunch of ramps to take your frustrations out on!If stress feels like it's getting the better of you, you know where to find us.—mental health matters — let’s support one another! #thefrontskatepark #weymouth #dorset #mentalhealthawarenessweek #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealth #mentalhealthmatters #mhaw18 #stress #stressrelief #selfcare #support #community #family #skatepark #famalam
